Mountain View Kennels was a small, owner operated kennel in Bostic, North Carolina.
Theresa Hartley McCraw always dreamed of opening a kennel and one day she made that dream come true. She opened the doors to Mountain View Kennels and began a business born of love for animals.
While the kennel is nothing fancy, it was a place where many pets were loved and taken care of as if they were Theresa’s own. Theresa loved animals of all shapes and sizes and through the kennel she was finally able to share that love with the rest of the world.
Theresa ran the kennel successfully for many years. In addition to pet boarding, Theresa also boarded rescue animals on their journey to their ‘forever home’. Theresa loved being able to help in this regard.
On December 17, 2011, Theresa became a victim of domestic violence. The world lost a wonderful person that day. The kennel was her love and this site will remain up as it was during her tenure for as long as possible.
We love you, Theresa, and pray you are surrounded by all those loving pets who went before and have gone after. Joining you across the Rainbow Bridge.
